Port loko hospitalThe Mano River Union First Ladies Initiative and UN Women have supported the First Lady Sia Nyama Koroma's vision and aspirations for the women and children of Sierra Leone by providing a Rebranded Maternal and Child health Facility in the Port Loko District. The project aims to rebrand the maternal and child health facilities in Port Loko and Kenema. At a ceremony to launch the rebranded maternal and Child health facility in Port Loko the First Lady Sia Nyama Koroma said that the event marks the beginning of a new dawn for the women and children of Port Loko District. The construction of this facility will mark the beginning of a new dawn for the women and children of Port Loko district; their district was one of the hardest hit by the Ebola virus.
