Tschoolohe Office of the First Lady of Sierra Leone in its usual educational support to schools, donated 150 small tubs of plastering, 16 cartoons of Exercise books, 10 Mobile Desks, 5 boxes of pencils, 3 boxes and 12 oil colored pastels to the Blessing Primary School at 3a Old Rail Way Line Freetown. The First Lady Mrs. Sia Nyama Koroma during her presentation stated that education is the greatest means of making children becoming functioning and participating members of their society. She informed the gathering that her office has been providing money and school materials throughout the country to augment the learning process particularly for children who have the brain power, yet deprived of the wherewithal to pursue education. Mrs. Koroma assured all that her office will continue to advance the value of education for all, and most importantly the empowerment of the Sierra Leonean girl-child and women. Expressing their sincere thanks and appreciation for such a gesture, the Head Teacher of the primary school, Mrs. Floretta E. Thomas said that the donated items will go a long to enhance the teaching and learning process at the School. She also thanked the First Lady for all the great strides she has championed on behalf of the women and children of Sierra Leone.
